Klatkager

I think this dish is Danish, but I'm not too sure so don't hang me up on it! From risengrød you can make ris à la mande and then klatkager, which are all fairly easy dishes to cook. It's basically rice pudding that you transform into various other dishes from one batch, and this morning I made some klatkager. You just need to turn your risengrød into ris à la mande (with whipped cream, sugar, vanilla and finely chopped almonds) in order to do so. After you've made that you just add in a couple of eggs, flour and stir it well- these additions should be according to the portion of ris à la mande of course. Bake them like mini-pancakes on a frying pan with plenty of butter, and you have it! Very simple, very delicious. nomnomnom
