The packaging is fun as most Benefit packaging is. Their colorful designs lack of a "sophisticated air" but it's actually something that I appreciate rather than frown upon, because it makes it so much easier to spot in a drawer full of make up. A sad truth, but a truth nonetheless. The packaging makes for fool proof use, as it's in a tube form, which makes it possible to squeeze out all of the product so not a single drop is wasted.
The smell and texture of it is nice- I could imagine some people being sensitive towards the fruity smell, but I so happen to like it. It glides on smoothly, but I kind of have a hard time figuring out how much I've already applied where.
I'll be honest and say that it doesn't really match up to my primer from Lancôme (La Base Pro), but that's probably due my skin condition rather than the formulation of the product. E.g. I find that the Porefessional does little for dry patches and bumpy skin, but is decent at oil control and making my make up last.
It's a nice product overall and I definitely plan on using it up, but if you asked me whether or not I'd repurchase it, I would most likely reply with a shaky "no".
