Work Placement Pondering

Trying to go to Japan for my 3rd year Work Placement (internship in a business overseas) and everything is so darn pricey. To be fair, I am traveling a great distance and I will be staying for about three weeks. It's still wack though. I can't see how I am ever going to fund the trip, but alas, such is life- or as the Japanese would say it "shouganai".
